Situated between the Admiralty Metro Station and Wan Chai Metro Station, the Ozo Wesley makes for the perfect base for your exploration of Hong Kong; it is in a modern, chic building in the heart of Hong Kong Island and you really can’t get any better. With interactive screens giving you endless information on the area, and how best to access Macau, a wealth of information can be found at the tip of your fingers. And, if it can’t, the staff was incredibly knowledgable and helpful as well — they even printed up all of our papers necessary to apply for our Chinese Visas. Should you be applying for your Chinese Visa in Hong Kong, as we were, I highly recommend staying at the Ozo Wesley if only for the fact that both China Travel Service (CTS) and the Chinese Office of Foreign Affairs were within close walking distance. Within the spacious lounge, you can find plenty of plush chairs, computers, and a grab-and-go corner for a quick bite to eat. Also, the strong air conditioning always felt amazing after wandering the humid streets of Hong Kong!
Throughout Japan and South Korea, I’d experienced nothing but tatami mats and hard beds. Needless to say, it came much to my surprise when I laid down on my bed at the Ozo Wesley in Hong Kong to find a soft, cushy mattress! I cannot even express how fantastic it felt. The Ozo Wesley promises that you will be “rest assured,” and rest assured I was!
Having been on the road nearly four months already prior to my arrival in Hong Kong, I needed a good night’s sleep. Our cozy and clean room couldn’t have been more comfortable! With air conditioning, flat-screen TV, personalized WiFi, tea facilities, mini fridge, and bathroom with shower and toiletries, the room had everything we could have needed.
Other than the crazy comfortable beds and the prime location, the gym facilities and breakfast options were definitely a highlight. We had initially planned to peek into the gym only to take some photographs, but next thing we knew we found ourselves absorbed in an hour-long workout sesh! With cardio machines, free weights, and yoga mats, the Tone Fitness Centre offers everything you need for a proper workout, and a much needed one too!
After a perfect workout and a perfect night’s sleep, it was time to check out Ozo Wesley’s breakfast buffet at ZAAN. They served a variety of food, from Asian to Western dishes, bound to suit anyone’s needs.
Dim sum, fried rice, and sesame rolls, alongside eggs, sausage, baked beans, and cereals, and topped off with some tasty pastries made for quite a filling breakfast. You cannot forget the fact that they have both peanut butter and banana smoothies too! Stuffed, we were ready to begin our adventure in Hong Kong.
We truly fell in love with the Ozo Wesley Hong Kong and all it had to offer. I could have spent days just lounging in our room alone. Until next time Ozo Wesley!
