It’s a sad fact that you’re less easily impressed by vacation destinations when you go away often. That’s not to say, of course, that you don’t still love what you see. You wouldn’t go away that often if you didn’t. But, each destination won’t have the power it would if, say, you only went away every five years or so.

But, instead of getting upset about that, it’s worth noticing that it allows you to pick out the most deserving destinations. Not every country will be exceptional for its novelty. So, the ones that do stand out have to be something special…

One such vacation for most travelers is an African safari. We have just returned from the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, and it was unreal! It’s the ultimate goal for many, and once you’ve done it, it’s easy to see why. In fact, this experience is so uniquely amazing that you may find yourself shouting from the rooftops. You’ll feel a need to encourage everyone you love and care about into a trip like this. So much so that you may even find yourself searching, ‘how much does it cost to rent a private plane,’ just so you can get them all there. If you can afford it, this would definitely be the answer. If not, you could always try to tempt them in the following, cheaper, ways…

Show your pictures

They do say that a picture is worth a thousand words. And, when it comes to reasons why you should go on an African safari, that’s definitely the case. The best part about any safari experience is the animals. Get some good snaps of those, and they can speak for themselves. Attempt to show people pictures which reveal how close you get to these fantastic creatures. And, don’t be shy to pull them out…

Spend a day in the Ngorongoro Crater and get ready for a thrill! From fighting lions to baby animals, the crater is a must. Our week with Pristine Trails couldn't have gone more smoothly, and we're so grateful for the memories of our time in Tanzania. Read more at thefivefoottraveler.com

These aren’t your typical holiday snaps, after all.

Tell EVERYONE

Going on a Safari is an experience that you will want to share with everyone. And, you should. You aren’t going to encourage anyone to experience it for themselves by staying quiet about it. Instead, tell everyone who you can. Find ways to drop your experience into the conversation. This life-changing experience is well worth the time and money. Trust me.

Know your information

Of course, speaking about this won’t do you much good if you can’t point people in the right direction. The majority of us have a burning desire to experience something like this. But, few of us actually know of recommended areas to visit. As such, it’s worth jotting down the details of where you stayed, and which company you went on safari with. Your recommendation is sure to carry more weight if you can help people with the technical stuff, too!
